Zach Martin’s passion for God, music and sports, coupled with his desire to always serve his local community, has provided him many opportunities to share the gospel on the field of play, in the broadcast booth and in the workplace, and now he will help make a difference as he serves on FCA-NYC’s Leadership Board.

“I have always been involved with my local community in one way or another. Being part of the FCA Team will put God’s servants right where they are needed, and it’s my hope that by being involved with FCA, I can do my part to facilitate helping others to reach those who really need God in their lives.”

Martin has been a professional broadcaster for over 30 years, including on-air in New York City at WXRK (K-Rock), WCBS-F and WAQX (Q104.3). Since 2015 he has hosted Ultimate Classic Rock on 28 Townsquare stations. He enjoys the friendships he has made with his many listeners over the years, whom he considers the most important VIP’s in the room. A graduate of St. John’s University, Martin is also an Orthodox Priests and holds a Master’s Degree in Theology from New York Theological Seminary and a Masters’ of Divinity from Holy Resurrection Orthodox Seminary.  He has served as a Hospice Chaplain for Care Alternatives and he is a Certified Crisis Chaplain with the National Center for Crisis Management.

A New Jersey resident, Martin is married with one teenage daughter. His hobbies — other than rocking the airways –include Classic Rock, NASCAR, New Country, Oldies and Mozart. He is also an avid New York Giants fan.
