Sports have always been a part of the fabric of Christina Milano’s life, and sharing the gospel with others through sports drives her and gives her purpose. As she serves on FCA NYC’s Leadership Board, Milano will have the opportunity to combine her spiritual and personal passions.
“Serving to me is about loving people and seeking ways to make a difference just as Jesus did. With FCA, I have the privilege of using my Christian faith and sports to impact students’ and coaches’ lives, empowering them to lead on their teams and in their communities. I am excited to be involved with FCA NYC because there is no greater city in the world and therefore no greater opportunity!”
Milano graduated from Cornell University with a degree from the School of Hotel Administration. While she captained her high school varsity tennis team and competed in USTA tournaments, during college she chose to coach youth tennis at Cornell’s Reis Tennis Center.
Milano is currently the Director of Business Development at Excel Sports Management, a full-service sports and entertainment agency representing some of the biggest names in basketball, baseball, golf, football and music, as well as sports properties and corporate consulting clients. She helps companies create custom marketing partnerships that advance Excel’s athletes’, entertainers’ and other properties’ brand image and business interests through endorsements and sponsorships.
Prior to joining Excel, Milano spent four years at Madison Square Garden creating custom sponsorships for a variety of sports and entertainment properties including the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, the Rockettes, Beacon Theatre, Chicago Theatre, The Forum in LA and numerous media properties.
